Maybe not the best numbers in the world, but since I was literally getting no signal on the other side of the building, that's quite an improvement.

Welcome to the North Side
Just moved offices from the South side of my building where I got no WiMax signal whatsoever to an office on the North Side. I speculated one of the benefits was I would get a signal. I assumed this based on Clear's coverage map showing a WiMAX tower pretty close to the building:

You have an office with a window? That is so cool.
ReplyDeleteI've been more fortunate then most. However, most of our buildings are not cube farms (We do have some) and as such you typically have a 50/50 chance at a Window office. Heck, in my entire (near 12-year career) here I think I've had a window office 10 of those years. Only 1 assignment did I not have a window office... and it wasn't when I was a newhire... it was an assignment from about 4 years ago.
