Louisville's Water Infrastructure

The UofL area expienced their second major water main break within the last six weeks. brokensidewalk.com has had a couple posts looking at Louisville's aging infrastructure.

Neat to watch the tree disappear though.

Yesterday, a 48-inch water main broke at Crittenden Drive and Eastern Parkway wreaking havoc on surrounding neighborhoods. According to the Louisville Water Company, the break has been isolated, but not before it tore through the ground, flooded the St. Joseph neighborhood, devoured a tree, and ruptured a gas line.
