Smile Detector is pretty cool
When we bought the Sony DSC-W170 with its "Smile Shutter" feature I thought it would be "cute" but essentially not real useful feature of the camera. That said.... its definitely good for trying to capture the oh-so-rare smile of an infant. :)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ENERGY SAVER LIGHT BULBS!
While I do think more people should use CFL bulbs... I'm not sure how I feel about congress legislating their use. To make matters worse, the average consumer is not AT ALL aware of CFL disposal procedures and don't follow them... and even if they were aware... if they are really as complicated as read here... nobody will ever do it anyway (I know I haven't with the few I threw away... but I was in the "unaware" category before).
